As the Talent Onboarding Coordinator, I ensure that our new hires are processed through our system accurately and in a timely manner. I’m also here to answer questions and help them feel confident that they have completed all of their necessary onboarding materials before orientation day. I love my job and enjoy this high energy team. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t learn something new!
My weekends are filled with activities for my two kiddos, Lainy and Archer. My husband and I are also avid DIYers – our biggest project including the rehab of an old Air Stream camper which we’ve affectionately named “Reba.”
If you have questions about the onboarding process, or need help connecting with a recruiter, please reach out to me. I’d love to talk with you!

As a proud “me-maw” who thinks the world of her grandchildren, I am determined to find the BEST, most talented, most caring and “fun” physicians to be a part of Children’s Mercy. As a Talent Acquisition Supervisor, I divide my time between tackling the marketing components and content build-out, and creating a better onboarding and orientation process. I work with a small but mighty team and our ultimate goal is to create an exceptional candidate to new hire experience. At Children's Mercy, we know we are here for the patients and families we serve but finding and orienting the right people to care for our families is essential to my role. We are making some exciting improvements to our onboarding experience and I'm thrilled to be a part of the process!
My side hustle is my three kids, who have all been previously treated at Children's Mercy. I've walked through these doors as a parent with a sick child and it makes me even more appreciative of the truly amazing pediatric care provided at our hospital.

As a Senior Talent Recruiter at Children’s Mercy, my primary focus is on Information Systems (IS) positions and various niche roles throughout the hospital. As the IS recruiter, I have naturally become the team “muse” in learning and understanding all the systems we work within to recruit top talent. The tech industry is ever-changing which keeps this job exciting. Understanding just a small portion of what our hospital IS engineers, architects and cyber security teams do each day, makes me more committed to finding the best talent for these teams.
I also stay busy being a mommy to two active kiddos who keep my husband and I on-the-go. They are my truest joy and serve as a constant reminder of the committed, top-rated care provided at Children’s Mercy to our patients and families. I am honored to work here and love being a part of an organization that strives to create a world of wellbeing for children! If you’d like to learn about openings in IS or have questions, reach out to me through email.
