I’m a Senior Talent Recruiter here at Children’s Mercy and most importantly I’m a mother of two children. I want to hire the best here at Children's Mercy for not only my kids but for others.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, I do a little bit of everything and I'm often referred to as the "jack-of-all-trades" for our team. I can usually answer any and all questions. On a given day, I keep multiple balls in the air from social media administration; planning new hire events; or working with a film crew to capture our unique employee stories. I own or manage lots of various projects geared toward our team goals. I also jump into complex candidate itinerary development and budget and variance reporting.

My side hustle is my three kids, who have all been previously treated at Children's Mercy. I've walked through these doors as a parent with a sick child and it makes me even more appreciative of the truly amazing pediatric care provided at our hospital.

I am a Senior Talent Recruiter responsible for the recruitment of APRN’s and several other nursing areas throughout the hospital. I’m a Texas Tech University grad and have previous work experience in physician recruitment.

In 2016, I relocated to Kansas City and began my career at Children’s Mercy. Working at a children’s hospital has always been my dream and I’m honored to be a part of this top-rated organization.

In my spare time, I enjoy visiting my niece and nephew, spending time with friends, volunteering and taking in all that Kansas City has to offer!

I am a Recruiting Coordinator for Children’s Mercy. I genuinely enjoy this position because I get to communicate directly with applicants and Children’s Mercy employees alike. We have a great team here that loves to help people find their “fit” within the organization.

I was born and raised in the Kansas City area, so Children’s Mercy has been a fixture in my life. I love that I get to be a part of a place that helps so many people in my community. When I’m not at work, my husband, Joe, and I like to take adventures with our little dog, Larry. We also enjoy eating good food and making new friends!

As a former PTA President, I attended countless school programs and served on many school district committee’s focused on education. As the mom of a child on the autism spectrum, I am dedicated to helping improve the lives of all individuals who have challenges.

My weekends are often spent on the sports fields watching my two boys do what they love to do. Having graduated from K-State, I might also be a Wildcats fan!

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Children’s Mercy, I work with our dedicated recruiters to connect potential hires with key hospital stakeholders and deliver a seamless, unforgettable recruitment experience. My day consists of crafting position descriptions for executive-level roles, developing candidate profiles, showcasing our impressive hospital and city, and arranging complex itineraries on behalf of our candidates and hiring teams.

In my down time, you can find me at the sand volleyball courts or practicing aerial yoga at my local studio. I’m an avid traveler and usually visiting a new destination every couple of months. Please reach out to me if you have any questions about our hospital!

I grew up as a Children’s Mercy patient after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at a young age. It was a scary challenge, but every employee at CM that crossed my path made it easy for me to continue being a kid.

These memories made joining the Children’s Mercy recruitment team an easy one! I’ve recently taken on the role of Talent Recruiter, after first serving as the Recruitment Coordinator for three years. I am thrilled to be helping people find the perfect job at Children’s Mercy…just like I did!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, camping and kayaking, attending live music events, or building a Lego collection with my partner Jeff. We are also obsessed with our rescue dogs, Rey and Obi-Wan, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

As a Senior Talent Recruiter at Children’s Mercy, my primary focus is on Information Systems (IS) positions and various niche roles throughout the hospital. As the IS recruiter, I have naturally become the team “muse” in learning and understanding all the systems we work within to recruit top talent. The tech industry is ever-changing which keeps this job exciting. Understanding just a small portion of what our hospital IS engineers, architects and cyber security teams do each day, makes me more committed to finding the best talent for these teams.

I also stay busy being a mommy to two active kiddos who keep my husband and I on-the-go. They are my truest joy and serve as a constant reminder of the committed, top-rated care provided at Children’s Mercy to our patients and families. I am a Talent Acquisition Supervisor supporting various departments throughout the hospital. I am passionate about finding the right person for the right role. As a mom of three, I know what is important to me when it comes to taking care of my kids and it is my mission to find those qualities in all of my hires.

My family and I love being outdoors, going on walks with our dog, Winston, and dancing around the house. We are busy with sports and are often on the field cheering on our little athletes.

After over 5 years of working in the fast-paced world of health care agency staffing, I am honored to have joined the Children’s Mercy Talent Acquisition Team as a Grad Nurse and Clinical Talent Recruiter. Working with nurses is a huge passion of mine and I am excited to bring top talent to Kansas City to look after our kiddos!

In my spare time, I enjoy taking trips to the dog park with my golden retriever, Emmie, and whipping up new recipes in the kitchen for my family and friends to try.
