Scheduling an Appointment
Mobile device issue
We understand that some staff, patients and families may be missing calls from Children’s Mercy because our phone number is showing up on their mobile device as “unknown” or “spam.”
In these cases, it is a carrier or mobile device setting that silences “unknown” calls, causing the device not to ring and the call goes to voicemail.
Actions you can take:
-
Add relevant Children’s Mercy phone numbers to your mobile device contact list, so the numbers no longer get filtered as “unknown” or “spam.”
-
If you are accessing this page from a mobile device:
Click on this virtual contact file (v-card) to “Create/Import a New Contact” that contains a variety of Children’s Mercy phone numbers to your mobile device. -
If you are accessing this page from your desktop or tablet:
Use the camera app on your mobile device to scan the QR code and access the virtual contact file to “Create/Import a New Contact.”
-
-
Be aware calls may be going to your voicemail. Check for new messages.
-
If you are on the MyChildrensMercy Patient Portal, check for messages. When a message is sent through the portal, you will receive an email notifying you of a new message.
