Molly Weaver
Molly is the Director of Employment and has been with Children’s Mercy since 2009. Focusing on candidate and hiring manager experience, she has created new strategies to engage top talent. Prior to Children’s Mercy, Molly was a Senior Manager of recruiting programs for T-Mobile managing areas that supported recruiting such as applicant tracking, affirmative action, college and military recruiting programs, background checks and workforce planning. She also has extensive experience recruiting in high volume environments such as retail. Molly has an MBA from Rockhurst University and an BS from Kansas State University. She has also completed her Human Capital Strategist certification. Her passion is to find the right talent for the open position as well as the best fit for the candidate.

Jeff Janda
Jeff has been a recruiter at Children’s Mercy Hospital since February of 2010. Jeff has several years of experience as an executive recruiter where he learned to source top talent, build client relationships and coach hiring managers on successful interview procedures and candidate assessment. Currently, Jeff is responsible for recruiting: Accounting & Finance, Child Life and Volunteer Services, IT, Lab, Nurse Practitioners, PT/OT, Perinatal Staff Nurses, Research and Social Work.

Doug Moss
Doug has been a recruiter with Children’s Mercy Hospital since 2004. Prior to that he was a Senior Recruiter with Sprint for seven years and has 25 years of experience in Human Resources. Doug has a Bachelor’s degree from William Jewell College and a Master’s in Human Resource Development from Webster University. Doug recruits for the Pharmacy, Resource Development, Communications and Marketing, as well as Administrative Assistant and Access Representative positions.

Angie Richardson
Angie has worked at Children's Mercy since 1997 and has spent the majority of that time in recruiting. She loves meeting new people and matching their skills and abilities with the right position at CMH. Angie has worked at both the main campus in Kansas City, MO as well as Children’s Mercy South in Overland Park, KS. Currently, Angie is the Clinical Talent Recruitment Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating the recruitment efforts in clinical areas.  She is also the nursing recruiter for all critical care units. Angie has obtained a professional certification in Human Resources, PHR and is a member of the local Kansas City Human Resources Management Association as well as the Kansas City Area Health Care Recruiters Association. Angie is excited about the future of healthcare recruitment and is honored to work for such an outstanding organization!

Jodi Weiss
Jodi Weiss is the Talent Acquisition Projects Lead at Children’s Mercy. Jodi started her career at CMH as a recruiter in 1998. She became the Senior Recruiter in 1999 staying in that role until she switched to her current role in 2011. Over her tenure with the hospital, she has recruited for everything from nurses to research to clerical. Now she works on projects for the Talent Acquisition Team which includes Immigration, Affirmative Action, Applicant Tracking System, Social Media and Military Recruiting. She has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and is currently working on her Master’s in Liberal Arts. She obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2008.

Charlene Plotycia
Charlene Plotycia has been employed as Physician Recruiter at Children’s Mercy Hospitals & Clinics since October, 2009. Charlene has worked in hospital healthcare since 1982. Her background in Physician Recruitment includes 5 years experience as Senior Coordinator and Recruiter for a Residency Training program. She has 10 years Hospital Human Resources experience in recruitment, training, and employee relations. She has her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Baker University. Charlene is Secretary of the Missouri-Iowa-Nebraska-Kansas (MINK) Physician Recruiter group. “It is my privilege to recruit physicians to an organization that focuses on meeting the health needs of Children in our region.”

Melynda has been a recruiter with Children’s Mercy since November of 2011. Prior to CMH, she worked as a Divisional Sales Recruiter for T-Mobile covering the Midwest division. She has experience recruiting for high volume positions in a fast paced environment. Melynda has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She recruits for the inpatient Care Assistant positions. She loves meeting applicants and enjoys helping people further their career in nursing.

Elizabeth Liechti
Elizabeth joined Children's Mercy in 2012 as a Talent Recruiter, with a specific focus on nurse recruitment. Prior to Children's Mercy, she worked as the Corporate Recruiter for Herzog Contracting Corporation. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Missouri Western State University. Elizabeth's favorite part of recruiting nurses for Children's Mercy Hospital is getting to be part of the process that finds the best care for kids and helping candidates find the right place to start or continue their career.

Cory Anderson
Cory has been a recruiter with Children's Mercy since November 2012. Prior to Children's Mercy, Cory was an Executive Recruiter for scientific companies in Kansas City as well as a Travel Nurse Recruiter for hospitals nationwide. Cory has a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and currently recruits for Children's Mercy openings in IT, Laboratory, Research, Radiology, Pharmacy, Respiratory, Sleep Lab and PCN.

Tracy Dickens
Tracy Dickens graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Communications. She went on to earn her master's degree in Business Administration from Baker University. Prior to Children's Mercy, Tracy spent time honing her recruiting skills as an Executive Recruiter at a local agency. She has had many prominent companies in Kansas City as her clients. Tracy has experience in candidate assessment, behavioral interviewing and coaching in order to create successful processes that are beneficial to both the candidate and the organization. She actively volunteers with New Horizons Ranch, an equine assisted learning facility, serving riders with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.

Tiana Starke
Tiana is the Talent Acquisition Compliance Coordinator and has been with Children’s Mercy since September 2013. She is responsible for coordinating the immigration process for international new hires and existing employees and also works on projects to ensure onboarding compliance. Prior to Children’s Mercy, Tiana was the International Services Senior Advisor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri and is an active member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Tiana has a passion for helping international employees and students navigate the complex U.S. immigration system and loves getting to know people from other countries and learning about their customs and cultural traditions.
