Help kids in need by partnering with Children’s Mercy

Local corporate and community groups understand the importance of taking care of our neighbors when they need us most. At Children’s Mercy, we count on your collective compassion to help kids receiving care and their families have a positive experience — even during this most difficult time.

There are many ways you can make a difference, from one-time volunteer opportunities at the hospital, to running donation drives, sponsoring events or making a financial contribution. Your partnership makes a meaningful difference and helps ensure that every child receives quality care.

Country Hill Motors gives back

When a child has to be in the hospital, it’s tough on families. During the holidays it can be especially heartbreaking. In December 2015, Country Hill Motors generously provided our families a fancy “night out” without having to leave the hospital. And, they got special gifts provided by Country Hill Motors and other businesses inspired by their generosity!

Connecting with the kids

Recently, about 40 employees in our very own Children’s Mercy Human Resources department stepped out of their offices and into the hospital to spend time with some of the brave, resilient children in our care. For team member who don’t typically spend face-to-face time with patients, this was a great way to remind them that what they do every day makes a difference.
