The Center for Sports Medicine at Children's Mercy Hospitals & Clinics is one of the nation's premiere sports medicine programs specifically focused on caring for the youth and adolescent athlete. Through clinical care, research, and an entire team of specialists, we are looking to improve how young athletes are cared for today and into the future.
Sports Medicine Staff
Our fellowship-trained sports medicine specialists understand the growing bodies of young athletes. We are one of only a handful of programs in the country providing a comprehensive approach to care. Our methods includes surgical, non-surgical, medical, rehabilitation, and research — all to provide the best possible treatment for young athletes.
Sports Medicine Programs
Our team provides a full range of services to treat and prevent injuries in young athletes. Our team of physical therapists offers sports-specific rehabilitation and injury prevention to facilitate a quick and safe return to participation. We also collaborate with the Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy to offer sports rehabilitation services at the Children's Mercy Blue Valley location.
