Other great benefits of working at Children’s Mercy

Children’s Mercy has other great benefits you’ll hear more about during Children’s Mercy Orientation:

  • Short-Term Disability, Legal Assistance and Auto/Home Insurance: Find more information on these voluntary benefits in the Online Enrollment Guide.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): We partner with ComPsych to provide you with access to confidential short-term counseling and referrals on a variety of topics, including child and elder care and financial counseling.

  • Discounted Children’s Mercy services: You’ll receive discounts on the cost of inpatient and outpatient services received at Children’s Mercy.

  • Adoption Assistance: Up to $5,000 of adoption-related expenses will be reimbursed to you if you adopt or provide foster care for children.

  • Bright Horizons Back-up Care: Subsidized back-up child and adult/elder care is available if your normal caregiver isn't available and you need to work.

  • Bright Horizons Additional Family Supports: Access online, self-serve and self-pay services to search for babysitters and nannies for regular and weekend care and adult/elder caregivers; pet sitters, dog walkers and groomers; elder care resources, planning and referrals; and homework and household help.

  • Pet insurance: You are eligible to enroll cats, dogs, or even birds, reptiles or exotic pets.  Coverage is offered through Nationwide, the country’s largest pet insurance provider.

  • Missouri Savings for Tuition (MO$T): MO$T is an IRS-qualified 529 plan that allows you to conveniently save tax-free for secondary education.
