An illness or injury to a child is traumatic for the entire family, both emotionally and financially.

The Emergency Assistance Fund at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics has very specific criteria based upon patient/ family need and helps families with short term day-to-day needs and expenses related to caring and providing for their children which are not covered by insurance, or available through other benefits, family income or community resources.

In-kind donations (i.e. gas, grocery, discount store/ pharmacy pre-paid cards) as well as monetary donations are appreciated. If you are interested in donating to the Emergency Assistance Fund, please contact:
