Strengthen investments in violence and injury prevention efforts and services.

• Expanded our SCAN clinical efforts by opening our first SCAN Clinic at Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas 

• Added a Psychologist at Operation Breakthrough (source: Donna O’Malley, Social Work)

• Clinical social worker accepted into the PCIT Train-the-Trainer program

• Established funding and FTE support (Director for Center of Violence Prevention) for the “Center of Violence Prevention” 

• Continued the annual educational program for non medical community agency professionals about the medical aspects of child abuse and neglect, called Medical Aspects Training
