Establish community collaborations and effective partnerships that promote access

  • Project ECHO – community collaboration between CMH, KU and AAP for the improvement of pediatric epilepsy care throughout the state of KS; awarded funding from AAP

  • KU School of Public Health Hispanic Research Network – Juntos Center

  • Clinic enhancements and psychologist at Operation Breakthrough

  • Continued efforts for teen outreach and support services (e.g. Crittenton Behavioral Health, Ozanam Home, Hilltop Residential Center, University Academy School, and Synergy Services

  • Note: Mexican Consulate & Health and Human Services

  • Partnered with Crossroads Academy (KC charter school) to provide nursing support. Provided 5 nurses to screen and provide needed immunizations to students. Provided an LPN to perform 45 vision screenings for third-graders.
