In April 2025, Children’s Mercy Kansas City announced a $152 million expansion plan for Children’s Mercy Kansas in Overland Park, Kan. The four-year project will enhance patient care, introduce new clinical programs and give more families access to world-class care — closer to home.

Know before you go
The Tom Watson Emergency Center, 5805 W. 110th Street, is open and will stay open through the entire project.
We will continue to care for kids and families in our community during construction.
