Our team includes more than 15 pediatric endocrinologists and nearly 100 employees. - Children's Mercy is home to the first pediatric diabetes program to be accredited by the American Diabetes Association.
- Our unique Great Heights Turner Syndrome Clinic provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary medical approach to for care girls with this condition throughout the region.
- One of only a few in the country, our Thyroid Nodule and Carcinoma Clinic is utilizing a multidisciplinary approach for diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of thyroid nodules and differentiated carcinoma in pediatric patients.
- Our physicians and scientists are conducting innovative research in diabetes prevention and its chronic complications; intersex issues and genetic imprinting; growth hormones; and islet transplantation survival and rejection.
