Down Syndrome Clinic

The Down Syndrome Clinic is a consultative service and screening mechanism for children with Down syndrome ages birth through adolescence. This is done by addressing the medical and therapeutic needs of individuals with Down syndrome.

Down Syndrome Clinic Staff

The Clinic is staffed by an experienced team of professionals with a special interest in Down syndrome. The team meets to review and evaluate the specific needs of each child and strives to improve the quality of life of each patient and his or her family.

First Downs for Down Syndrome

First Downs for Down Syndrome partners with the Kansas City Chiefs Offensive Line to promote a greater awareness of individuals with Down syndrome. FDFDS provides a significant portion of the budget necessary to operate the Children's Mercy Down Syndrome Clinic, and is committed to ensuring the Clinic's long-term viability. First Downs raises money through their annual fundraising events.
