The Down Syndrome Clinic is a consultative service and screening mechanism for children with Down syndrome ages birth through adolescence. This is done by addressing the medical and therapeutic needs of individuals with Down syndrome.
Down Syndrome Clinic Staff
The Clinic is staffed by an experienced team of professionals with a special interest in Down syndrome. This team consists of a pediatric and adolescent medicine specialist, audiologist, behavioral psychologist, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, registered dietitian, genetic counseler, social Worker, and a nurse clinic coordinator. This team meets to review and evaluate the specific needs of each child. The Down Syndrome Clinic strives to improve the quality of life of each patient and his or her family.
