Home Systemic Steroid Plan

• If dexamethasone was administered, this may be adequate systemic steroid for the patient's asthma exacerbation. A second dose for home can be considered, but not strongly supported by evidence.
• If prednisolone/prednisone was chosen over dexamethasone, continue 1-2 mg/kg/day qday or divided BID for 3-5 days.
