Bringing world-class pediatric care to Southwest Missouri

Time to celebrate! Starting in November, Children’s Mercy and Mercy Springfield Communities are teaming up to bring expanded pediatric services and specialized care to families across Southwest Missouri. This means more kids will have access to nationally ranked specialty care, groundbreaking research and compassionate services – right in their own community. We're growing along the families we serve, because Children’s Mercy is built for kids. Read more about our expanded services partnership.

Severe Constipation: McKinley’s Story

McKinley went from repeated hospitalizations and weeks of school absences to playing travel-team softball — with patient-focused care at the Comprehensive Colorectal Center (CCC) at Children’s Mercy. With McKinley’s input, the CCC decided on an ileostomy to treat her chronic, severe constipation. Today, she’s back to her healthy, active self.
