Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Combined Training Fellowship (one year)

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Combined Training fellowship is accepting one fellow for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The fellow will have similar educational opportunities as the other fellows in the PRM fellowship program. After meeting with the fellow, the program director will develop a clinical curriculum to best address areas of interest and increase exposure to certain diagnostic populations. This includes a mixture of inpatient, consult, outpatient, and procedural experiences. The fellow will be encouraged to participate in research with the goal to generate a scholarly product commensurate to the duration of the fellowship.

How to apply


The Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Combined Training fellowship at Children’s Mercy is a one-year position and is being offered for the 2023-2024 academic year. 

Applicants to the Children’s Mercy Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Combined Training Fellowship Program must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited combined residency program in PM&R/Pediatrics or
  • Completion of separate ACGME-accredited residencies in Pediatrics and PM&R, and
  • American Board of PMR certification or eligibility

Applicants completing an ACGME-accredited residency in PM&R only should apply for the 2-year PRM fellowship.

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Personal statement
  • One letter of recommendation OR professional reference

Candidates will be chosen to interview in early July and be conducted virtually in early/mid-July.
