On behalf of the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Sciences and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, welcome to the Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics' (CMH) Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship Web page.
Our faculty includes seven developmental pediatricians, three child psychiatrists, twenty-three doctorate-level psychologists, five family therapists, as well as individuals in social work and nursing.
Our three-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship provides a broad-based, comprehensive clinical, educational and research experience for the developmental-behavioral fellow. We are committed to high-quality patient care enhanced by academic and research endeavors.
The overall goal of the program is to train pediatricians for an academic career in developmental-behavioral pediatrics. Upon completion of the training program, fellows will be eligible for board certification in developmental-behavioral pediatrics. If desired, the fellow has the opportunity for additional training in pediatric clinical pharmacology or a master's degree in public health or education.
The Division of Developmental-Behavioral Sciences fully supports a Clinical Child Psychology Internship Training Program accredited by the American Psychological Association. Placing this internship in this section allows the intern to work with a wide variety of professional experiences, including the developmental-behavioral pediatrics fellow.
We encourage you to consider our program for your future training. For more information about the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship, please contact Kerrie J. Jordan, MS, GME Senior Coordinator, at (816) 983-6487 or at email@example.com.
