Healthy Home Consumer and Family Workshops

Healthy Homes workshops are an excellent way to teach your local organization or community partners about the 8 healthy home keep-it principles and I they are important to everyone. Workshops are tailored to the need of your organization and can be lunch sessions, evening meetings or weekend workshops.


Target audience

Community leaders, community members, Parent Teacher Organizations, community organizations.


What you'll learn

Each workshop is designed to teach participants the healthy-homes home principles and best practices for maintaining a safe and healthy home for people and their families. Topics include how to deal with air quality, pests, moisture and mold, airborne chemicals, lead and lead-based paint, asbestos, and radon. The workshops are intended to be introductory and includes hands-on exercises.


Registration

Workshops are provided for FREE. Contact Environmental Health about hosting a workshop for your organization. All workshops will be provided educational materials and resources for attendees.
