The Ward Family Heart Center Children’s Mercy Heart Center is the place for your patients based on outcomes alone. We have a near 100% survival rate in STAT categories 1-4, an 86% survival rate in our most complex cases and a 100% post-heart transplant survival rate.

Our 30 board-certified pediatric cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons, and over 200 staff provide support to a comprehensive set of programs and services.
