The Children's Mercy Division of Genetics provides state-of-the-art evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and counseling for a variety of inherited and chromosomal disorders and genetic birth defects. Our Genetics team includes four physicians who are board-certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics, two of whom are certified as biochemical geneticists and nine genetic counselors.
