Physician Observerships
Observerships are open however a change in the in local COVID-19 rates could result in the cancellation of Observerships. Observerships remain limited in length to 1 day or a combined 8 hours.
The mission, passion, and work of Children’s Mercy Kansas City is not limited to inside the walls of our hospitals and clinics.
We welcome physician observers from all over the world. Clinical observerships are typically 2-4 weeks (and always under 3 months unless research is involved). We do offer discounted housing at the Diastole House ($300/week). The program fees are $500/week.
All international observers must be practicing physicians in their home country. We welcome learners (residents and fellows) from our partner hospitals only:
