Pediatric Pulmonology
Description: The rotation involves both inpatient and outpatient services. Typically, the rotation will be scheduled with one to two weeks on the Outpatient Pulmonary and Sleep Clinic; one week of in patient consult; and one week of Cystic Fibrosis (clinic and outpatient).
The structure is flexible, depending on the particular interest of the student. To maximize educational opportunities, specific days of the rotation may be scheduled at a satellite clinic at Children's Mercy Kansas or Children's Mercy Northland. This rotation does not require weekends.

Elective duration: Four weeks
Prerequisites: Completion of the Core Pediatric Clerkship
Available as a Sub-Internship for those who are in their final year of medical school and has a strong interest in pediatric pulmonology.
Typical schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, no weekends/nights
Criteria for passing: Attending evaluations and end of rotation test.
Criteria for honors: Attending evaluations and end of rotation test.
