Pediatric Nephrology

Description: Attendance, clinical performance and educational proposed research project constitute passing this elective.

Educational objectives: 

• Knowledge of pathophysiology, management of common renal disorders in children.

Elective duration: Four weeks

Prerequisites: Completion of the Core Pediatric Clerkship.

Typical schedule:  Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm. No call.

Criteria for passing: Satisfactory performance on the clinical evaluation.

Criteria for honors: Outstanding performance on the clinical evaluation.
