At Children's Mercy Blue Valley, families have access to two convenient care options in southern Johnson County:
- Urgent care: Open 7 days a week for illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention.
- Sports Medicine Center: Expert care for student-athletes recovering from sports-related injuries. Our care team works with young athletes in a 3,500-square-foot gym designed for sport-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Children’s Mercy Urgent Care offers three convenient locations, each staffed seven days a week by pediatric experts who are specially trained to treat non-life-threatening illnesses in children and teens. Patients can walk-in and check-in at the kiosk in the lobby, or for less time in the waiting room, we offer online check-in using Save My Spot. To provide better access throughout the metro area, our hours are shifting.
The hours of operation as of Oct. 1 are:
- Children’s Mercy East
- 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Children’s Mercy Northland
- 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Children’s Mercy Blue Valley
- Noon – 10 p.m.
Here’s how to check in online:
- Choose the location closest to you.
- Select a time that works best.
- Complete a short form, and save your spot.
- We can even send text message reminders as your scheduled appointment draws near.
Children with serious or life-threatening injuries or illnesses should be taken directly to the emergency room, or call 911.

Children's Mercy Blue Valley offers bone and joint imaging services. X-ray services are available during business hours, with an order from a provider. Not available to urgent care patients.

Children’s Mercy is the best in the game when it comes to pediatric sports medicine. Children's Mercy's team of physical therapists offers sports-specific rehabilitation and injury prevention to facilitate a quick and safe return to participation. Our Blue Valley location features a gym for all physical therapy and rehabilitation for sports-related injuries.
