At the Division of Dermatology at Children’s Mercy, we are committed to high-quality patient care enhanced by
academic and research endeavors. We offer a diverse and rich clinical
environment with an active outpatient and inpatient consultation service.
We offer a one-year
Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship Program approved by the American Board of
Dermatology and provides a broad-based, comprehensive clinical, educational and
research experience in the field of pediatric dermatology.
We also offer experience
in procedural pediatric dermatology including excisional surgery and laser
therapy. Upon completion of the fellowship program, fellows will be eligible
for board certification in pediatric dermatology through the American Board of

of our division members are founding members of the Hemangioma
Investigator Group, which collaborates on numerous clinical studies resulting
in multiple publications.

Our faculty includes four
Pediatric Dermatologists, all of whom are board certified in pediatrics and/or
dermatology, and three of whom are trained in both sub-specialties and boarded
in pediatric dermatology. We also have four advanced practice nurses and an
excellent nursing staff.
