Emergency Room

Children’s Mercy provides the highest level of complex emergency care to children across the area through two emergency rooms and the region’s only Level I pediatric trauma center. More than 90 pediatric emergency medicine specialists and surgeons on staff are ready to care for your child. Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If your need is more urgent, please call 911.

Adele Hall Emergency Department visitor restrictions

Due to construction, we have limited space in our Adele Hall Emergency Department waiting room. For the safety and comfort of everyone, we are only allowing 2 caregivers to accompany each patient.

Parking at Children's Mercy Kansas

At Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas, we’ve made it even easier for families to park. Lot A is now for visitors only and Lot C is for our healthcare workers. Emergency Department parking is available at Lots E and F. Signs and maps are available.

Children's Mercy Urgent Care provides care for children with minor injuries or illnesses that are not considered life threatening, but require prompt attention. We have three locations to serve you: Overland Park, East Kansas City and in the Northland.
