How to Apply
Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship
The Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship Program is sponsored by Children's Mercy Hospitals in coordination with The University of Kansas Medical Center. Each year we appoint one fellow through the San Francisco Matching Program.
Application Requirements and Details
Each fellow must successfully complete an ACGME-accredited residency and meet other criteria as specified by the ACGME Review Committee.
An interview will take place between January and April.
Application Deadline
The deadline for applications is January 15 each year.
International Candidates
Children’s Mercy Hospital primarily accepts international medical graduates for residency and fellowship programs in J-1 visa status. To be eligible for appointment, all international medical graduates must be sponsored by ECFMG for J-1 non-immigrant classification. CM will make all reasonable efforts to obtain the requested immigration benefit including the transfer of an existing H1B. However, we cannot guarantee any specific category of visa or any result, and CM may end or withdraw its sponsorship at any time if sponsorship was no longer feasible due to legitimate business reasons. CM reserves the right to make final decisions about sponsorship in its discretion and in compliance with U.S. law, regulations, and policy.
