This study is being done for kids: • Who has a severe infection called sepsis • Be able to provide several blood samples This study is for very sick kids that have a severe infection called sepsis. That infection is causing two or more body organs to work poorly. When this happens, the immune function may be too low and/or the amount of inflammation in the body organs may be too high. At this time, doctors don't know which issue the immune system has. This study looks at the immune function and can figure out if, in certain situations, the anti-inflammatory medicine called Anakinra, could be helpful to decrease organ inflammation with the goal to recover and recover more quickly.

This study is being done for children: • Ages 28 days to 36 months • Can be in the study for around 29 days • Hospitalized or non-hospitalized The purpose of this research study is to obtain information on how effective and how safe the Study Drug is in treating children with RSV infection and to determine the dose of Study Drug that works best. This will be done by checking how the children are feeling, and any side effects or changes to the children's laboratory tests.
