About the Study

Fetal Surgery: A study for those prenatally diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

This study is being done for those: • Gestational Age 18 weeks to 29.5 weeks • Prenatal diagnosis of left or right sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia • Willing to be followed in Children's Mercy Fetal Health Center This study is being done to determine if babies with left or right sided Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) who undergo the Fetoscopic Endoluminal tracheal Occlusion procedure survive more often and with fewer complication than those elect to not undergo the procedure.
