Orthopedics Research Experience Program
The Orthopedic Research Experience Program was created to give medical students the opportunity to gain meaningful research experience within orthopedics. The program offers students the chance to work alongside our leading physicians, providing valuable insight into the research process and exposure to academic medicine in a real‑world setting. By fostering early research involvement, the program aims to strengthen the residency applications of local medical students — especially those interested in orthopedics. Students accepted into the program are paired with a Principal Investigator and assigned to a defined research project, ensuring guided support and a structured, hands‑on learning experience.
