About the Study

Heavy Menstrual Bleeding: A study looking at people who have heavy menstrual bleeding that may or may not have a bleeding disorder that choose to start hormonal treatment with Progestin IUD or pill

You might be eligible to participate in this research study if: - You are 10-24 years old - You have now, or have ever had, heavy periods - You have been tested for a bleeding disorder (or are getting tested now) - You are planning to start a new hormonal treatment with: o Progestin IUD (Mirena® or Liletta®) o Progestin pill (norethindrone acetate 5 mg daily) What is involved: - Fill out an online survey every 3 months - Track your bleeding amount every day for 1 month - Participation ends after 6 months
