About the Study

Diabetes Type I: A study of medication, CNP-103, to prevent islet cell destruction.

This study is being done for adolescents/young adults/adults: * 12-35 years old. * Newly diagnosed Type I Diabetes. This study is looking to see if the medication, CNP-103, can help the body preserve its ability to produce insulin by reducing the attack on the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas.
