For New Onset Diabetes or any patient with an urgent endocrine need, please call 1-800-GOMERCY and ask to speak to the Endocrinologist on-call.

The Children’s Mercy Contact Center will call the patient within 2 business days to schedule.
Scheduled and requested appointment status can be found on the Wednesday referral reports.
Follow-up appointments should be scheduled by the patient by calling the Endocrinology Clinic at (816) 960-8803. For Wichita, please call (316) 500-8900.

For Gender Pathway Services (GPS), please include "gender dysphoria" as reason for consultation. A social worker will contact the family for a phone interview and discuss next steps.
