Cooking with Keto Kids
The hands-on cooking class provides a venue for both patients and caregivers to trial, evaluate, and taste new and standard recipes.
Keto kids work with the chef educator to learn how to create and weigh their own recipe using simple cooking terms. The patients read, prepare and taste their recipe, and come to understand how the recipe fits into their individual diet ratio. The Cooking with Keto Kids program offers patients and caregivers a venue to test recipes and receive support in a nonclinical setting.
This group meets the first Wednesday of even months. Please contact Kelli Neuburger at (913) 696-9318 for additional information.
