Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat

Educational objectives: Learn basic pediatric head and neck exam; understand basic middle-ear disease; upper airway pathology; and head and neck disease processes

Elective duration: Four weeks

Format: Clinic, Inpatient & OR

Prerequisites: Completion of the Core Pediatric Clerkship. Must complete OR safety training scheduled for 1st working day of each month prior to going into the OR.

Description: View basic ENT cases in the operating room, in the ENT Clinic and see inpatients with the residents and attendings.

Criteria for passing: Meet above criteria.

Criteria for honors: Short presentation on a topic of the student's choice involving pediatric ENT.
