Child Life 101 Workshop Information
The Child Life Department at Children’s Mercy Hospital is pleased to offer an informational session to those who are interested in learning about the field of child life. Students, educators, academic advisors, and community members are welcome to attend. This half-day session will include information from the Association of Child Life Professionals on the Child Life profession and specific guidelines/requirements in becoming a child life specialist. This workshop will provide information on:

Participant Requirements

Child Life 101 participants must be 18 years or older and have graduated from high school

Participants must submit a completed registration form, a signed confidentiality agreement, and proof of current flu vaccine

All sessions will take place from 7:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at:
