Child Neurology Residency - Clinical Experience

Clinical Rotations

Residents on the child neurology rotations actively participate in inpatient service and the outpatient child neurology clinic. Residents will gain experience in treating both common and uncommon pediatric neurological disorders.

While completing rotations, residents can expect to take a home call an average of every third night and one weekend per month.

Residents completing the Research Track (1 year Pediatrics, 1 year Research and 3 years Child Neurology) will be board eligible for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with special qualification in Child Neurology.

Residents completing the traditional track (2 years Pediatrics and 3 years Child Neurology) will be board eligible for The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with special qualification in Child Neurology.
