Medical Staff Services

The "Medical Staff" at Children's Mercy is the collective body of all physicians, dentists and psychologists who are appointed to the medical staff and who may be granted privileges to treat patients at the hospital’s facilities.

Medical Staff Services supports the collective body of Medical Staff in several ways:

• Credentialing and peer review processes.
• Managing, implementing and understanding documents and policies.
• Carrying out organization and committee functions for leadership.
• Participating in activities to assure maintenance of hospital licensure and accreditation relative to Medical Staff issues.

Verify affiliation of a staff member (past or present).
