On the main campus, decentralized pharmacists practice in areas throughout the hospital that include the pediatric intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, general pediatrics, emergency medicine, operating room (OR), hematology/oncology, infectious disease and multiple ambulatory care clinics.
Additional pharmacy services include home care, retail services, specialty, drug safety service, investigational drug service, and outpatient infusion.

Residency Information

The goal of the pharmacy residency is to provide a learning environment that encourages residents to develop into outstanding clinical practitioners. Children’s Mercy has a large group of highly qualified and dedicated preceptors eager to help residents develop their clinical pediatric skills.

PGY1 Program

PGY2 Program

Our PGY2 pediatrics program is new for the 2018-2019 residency year and is looking forward to recruiting our first PGY2 resident.
