Allergy Asthma and Immunology Appointment Information

If your child is a new patient or a patient returning to our office for allergy skin testing, please discontinue all antihistamine medications at least 7-10 days prior to the visit.

If your child has asthma, do not discontinue any of their asthma medications; asthma medications do not interfere with skin testing.

Please notify your primary provider's office with your appointment date and time so that they can send lab work, X-ray reports or specific reasons for your child's visit to the allergy/asthma doctor prior to the visit. (If your provider prefers to send the records with you, please remember to bring them to the appointment.)

If your child has been seen by another specialist for a similar problem, a copy of those records would be helpful as well.
