Molly Weaver
In addition to being the Mommy of a former NICU baby and a current kidney patient, I am the Director of Talent Acquisition for Children’s Mercy. In that role, I am responsible for attracting amazing people to take care of the children we serve - including mine. Our goal is to find the best people possible that have a passion for the health and well-being of children. If you share that passion, please come join us at Children’s Mercy by introducing yourself to us or by dropping me an email.

I am a Lead Recruitment Strategist and my primary focus is on manager, director and senior director-level positions throughout the hospital. I love that I get chance to bring in top talent to make Children’s Mercy a better place for the kids in Kansas City and surrounding areas. At home I have an amazing wife and one awesome son! We struggled with fertility so we call him our “lucky” one. We are also foster parents, which keeps us on our toes. If you have questions about the hospital or any of our openings, I would love to hear from you.

When I am not at work I love to be outdoors! Searching and finding new parks in KC has been quite an adventure for my kids and me (trust me, there are a lot of parks). When I am not out adventuring with my littles, I am working as one of the Nurse Talent Recruiters. Coming to work at Children’s Mercy was an easy decision for me. Like many people from the area, I have had family, friends, and my own kiddos that have received remarkable care here. Getting to know and talk with all the care assistants and nurses is the highlight of my job. They have such a passion for what they do! If this sounds like somewhere you would like to start or continue your nursing career, introduce yourself to us on our careers page, or email me.

Although I make recruiting for critical care nurses at Children’s Mercy one of my top priorities, my life is pretty full outside of work too! I have an amazing husband who is always coming up with the next big idea. I am a fur-mom to Winston, Chauncey, Charles and Emma and an obsessed godmother. I also find time to be the Lead Clinical Recruiter, which means I oversee recruiting projects geared toward making the candidate experience the best it can be. The critical care hiring managers at Children’s Mercy are some of the best people I could have asked to work with, and I take very seriously the role of helping them make a difference in whatever way I can. If you are as passionate about what we do at Children’s Mercy as I am, come work with me!

After working a few years at a couple of staffing agencies placing talent in a variety of industries, I decided to take a leap of faith and come work for one of the best employers in Kansas City. It was definitely well worth the risk. I am a Talent Recruiter and I help find the best people to work at this amazing place. If you've ever had to bring your child here, I might have helped hire some of the staff. Being a mom of two young and active kids, I understand why it is so important to find just the right person for the job! If you have a passion for children, please come join us at Children’s Mercy by introducing yourself to us or sending me an e-mail.

As you can see, I am also a mom of two very busy girls. Not only have I been at Children's Mercy as an employee, but I have also been here as a scared parent whose children were admitted as patients. I’ve had personal experiences with various departments such as the Lab, Radiology, and Physical Therapy just to name a few. When I walked into Children’s Mercy as the concerned parent, I was always so amazed at how the staff gave such love and care towards my kids and myself! Now, as a Talent Recruiter working for the hospital, I continually strive to bring people to Children’s Mercy who have the same compassion and understanding of the “Magic of Mercy” as my family experienced.

I am the Director of Physician Recruitment and looking for physicians that would get a “thumbs-up” and “high-five” from our kids. As a proud “me-maw” who thinks the world of her grandchildren, I am determined to find the BEST, most talented, most caring and “fun” physicians to be a part of Children’s Mercy. It takes so much more than just a medical degree to take care of OUR children. Only the BEST for my grandchildren, and all of our children at Children’s Mercy!
If you are a physician looking for a great opportunity, would our children (and grandchildren) recommend you?
If the answer is yes, I would love to hear from you! The kids are waiting...

I am the mom of two great boys who found their way to my home by way of adoption. As a former PTA President, I attended countless school programs and served on many school district committee’s focused on education. As the mom of a child on the autism spectrum I am dedicated to helping improve the lives of all individuals who have challenges. As the Recruiting Coordinator at Children’s Mercy, I provide support to our talented recruitment team, as well as assist with other projects that are thrown my way. My job encompasses something new every day and is always keeping me on my toes. I am always learning new things and enjoy growing my knowledge about this organization. While I don’t have any children of my own just yet, I do have siblings who have benefited from the unbeatable care that Children’s Mercy provides. When I’m not working I enjoy keeping an active lifestyle with my sweet dog and my crazy, wonderful, family.

I am the proud mom to three active kids and have a job that I love. My kiddos have all received outstanding care at Children’s Mercy, which made joining this team an easy choice! Each day I get to see some tangible reason why this hospital is the best in pediatric medicine. As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, I am the “jack of all trades,” working on special projects and providing support in recruitment and department operations. I am the Talent Onboarding Coordinator here at Children’s Mercy, but my most important job is being a mom to my two children. Both of my children have been patients at Children’s Mercy. My daughter had a tumor removed from her neck recently by an incredible team of ENT physicians, and I was reminded again how blessed I am to work at a hospital with people who care so deeply for children. Our Talent Acquisition team works to find the most talented and compassionate people to care for your precious children, too. If you have any questions or would like more information about available jobs, please email me.

I'm the Onboarding Coordinator in the Human Resources Department here at Children's Mercy. I started working here in October of 2011 as a temporary employee and loved it so much I started full time in February 2012. I'm more of the behind-the-scenes kind of person, sending out all the new hire letters once the recruiters make an offer, coordinating onboarding paperwork, helping with any issues and working with relocation reimbursement for those eligible. Children's Mercy is a special place and our recruiters work hard to find the best possible employees to care for our kids. My three children have all been patients here and, now with four grandchildren, there is no better place for their health and wellness.

I love working at Children’s Mercy and knowing that the people I work to hire bring so much joy to our patients and families.
