College Student Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities

College students (who are over the age of 18 and have graduated high school) are brought into the organization as year-round adult volunteers. Visit the Adult Volunteer page to learn more about the requirements and how to apply.

Please note: We do not have any short-term volunteer experiences for students in the fall, winter or spring breaks. However, for the summer of 2024, we will be offering a limited volunteer program for a total of 10 college students.

Details and commitment include:

  • Dates: June 3 - Aug.9
  • Location: Adele Hall
  • Commitment: One full day per week, Monday-Friday only, hours will be either 8 a.m.-4 p.m. or 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Qualified students must be able to commit for the full 10 weeks and are required to attend the scheduled orientation in late May.
  • Health and background clearance: Volunteers will be required to pass a background check, complete a health form and obtain any necessary vaccinations, including COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Application dates: Applications will be posted here from April 1 - April 15.
