Welcome to the Children's Mercy Hospital (CMH) in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. CMH sponsors a number of educational opportunities for medical students including the core pediatric clerkship, openings in over 30 electives and sub-internships, and student oberserverships.

The leadership of the medical student program has over 15 years of cumulative experience! In addition, medical student education has the support of 33 Sections and Divisions, over 300 pediatric faculty members and over 90 Pediatric and Med/Peds Residents. We are able to provide one of the most stimulating academic and clinical environments in the country. This diversity allows each individual to discover their interests and talentswhile they prepare for a career in modern healthcare.

A fabulous world of learning and opportunity awaits you at Children's Mercy Hospital.  In addition to the educational opportunities within each rotation, all medical students at CMH are invited to attend a number of weekly educational conferences offered to all CMH attendings, residents and students to enhance the rotation that you are enrolled for.  These conferences are given by residents, attendings and local and national speakers.  We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our programs and our hospital.
