Children's Mercy Health Network (CMHN), established in 1995, is a pediatric physician organization developed to support the practice of pediatrics in the community. CMHN is focused on managing pediatric-specific care issues and allows pediatric providers to make care decisions.
CMHN's Board of Managers has more than 70 percent physician membership. Physician participation and leadership serve as essential elements for the Network's success. Both primary and specialty care providers, including independent community physicians, are involved with CMHN.
Participation is free of charge at the Tier One level. Benefits include:
- Access to group purchasing arrangements through Child Health Advantage (exclusive arrangement with GlaxoSmithKline)
- Access to a national group purchasing program contract through Provista. Stay tuned for more details on our arrangement with Provista
Annual dues for each physician are required for membership in Tier Two. Participating providers in CMHN have the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of benefits which include:
