Noon to 10 p.m. seven days a week, 365 days a year

Children's Mercy Urgent Care College Boulevard provides care for children with minor injuries or illnesses that are not considered life threatening, but require prompt attention. Services are provided from noon to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

Commonly treated conditions include:

  • Allergic conditions and reactions
  • Asthma (mild to moderate)
  • Simple broken bones
  • Bronchitis and bronchiolitis
  • Burns (minor)
  • Constipation
  • Croup
  • Cuts (minor)
  • Diarrhea
  • Ear aches and infections
  • Eye infections (pink eye)
  • Fever (except infants less than 8 weeks of age)
  • Foreign bodies in the ear or nose
  • Influenza (the "flu")
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Mild vomiting
  • Mononucleosis ("Mono")
  • Pneumonia
  • Skin rashes, lumps and bumps
  • Sprains and strains
  • Sore throats

Children's Mercy Urgent Care College Boulevard has onsite plain film X-ray. Available lab testing includes rapid strep, mono, influenza, and RSV, as well as glucose, hemoglobin, and urinalysis.

Patients requiring additional services may be referred to the pediatric emergency departments at Children's Mercy South or Children's Mercy Hospital.
