The Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics' Health Sciences
Library has three full-time librarians and one library
technician to assist employees with electronic resource
instruction, literature searches, and access to electronic and
print resources. We also help pediatric residents, fellows and
faculty members affiliated with the University of Missouri-Kansas
City (UMKC) School of Medicine use resources from UMKC
Health Sciences Libraries.
Library Staff
Librarians attend clinical rounds, support research committees, and
provide reference services and training. Our collection
includes electronic databases, books, journals, point-of-care
tools, and other resources to enhance pediatric research and
clinical care. The Health Sciences Library is complemented by the
Kreamer Resource Center for Families, which
provides consumer health information services, patient
education materials and entertainment reading.
