The Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Program is sponsored by the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Our program prepares fellows to be excellent clinicians, endoscopists, capable academic leaders.

Fellowship Curriculum

The fellowship program consists of three years of training. The first year is divided between endoscopic procedures, inpatient and outpatient care, and research projects. The second and third years are focused on research activities.

Gastroentrology Staff

Our facility provides comprehensive care to a multi-state area including Missouri and Kansas. Our faculty consists of experienced gastroenterologists, nurses, nutritionists, and social workers. We are committed to high-quality patient care enhanced by research and academic endeavors.

Fellowship Highlights

  • Fellows rapidly acquire skills in endoscopic procedures during the first year of the program.
  • Fellows will learn from a vast range of disease entitities, including patients with chronic liver disease, Crohn's disease, and Ulcerative Colitis.
  • Guidance will be provided for research design, IRB submission, data analysis, and scientific writing.
