Class of 2015
Tyler Allison MD
(Chief Resident): Dr. Allison attended medical school at Southern Illinois College of Medicine in Springfield, Ill. He completed his pediatrics training at Children's Mercy-Kansas City as a part of our categorical five-year program.

"I think while ranking all of the programs that met my educational standards, Children's Mercy was the program that rose to the top because of the rich experience I had during my interviews at the hospital. The faculty, residents, and staff were so personable and seemed to sincerely enjoy their experiences with the hospital and their patients."

Class of 2016
Britton Zuccarelli, MD: Dr. Zuccarelli attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kan. She is currently completing her second year of pediatrics at Children's Mercy-Kansas City as a part of our categorical five-year program.

"I chose the program at Children's Mercy because the current residents, faculty and support staff truly treated me like a member of their family. Children's Mercy is a unique place to train with intriguing pathology and an atmosphere of camaraderie."

Class of 2017
Marcie Goeden, MD: Dr. Goeden attended medical school at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She is currently completing her first year of pediatrics at Children's Mercy-Kansas City as part of our categorical five-year program.

"I chose Children's Mercy because of the wide range of experiences that come from being part of a large children's hospital as well as the feeling of not just being another person in the program, but part of a family who truly cares about your education."

Julio Quezada, MD:  Dr. Quesada completed medical school at the Universidad Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala.  He is in his second year of pediatrics training at Children's Mercy-Kansas City as a part of our five-year categorical program.

Deepti Nagesh, MD:  Dr. Nagesh completed medical school at the Rajiv Gandhi Medical College in IndiaShe is in her second year of pediatrics training at Children's Mercy-Kansas City as a part of our five-year categorical program.

Bethany Runkel, MD:  Dr. Runkel attended medical school at University of Kansas School of Medicine.  She is in her first year of pediatrics training at Children's Mercy-Kansas City as part of our five-year categorical program.

Andrew Cease, MD:  Dr. Cease completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  He is in his first year of pediatrics training at Children's Mercy-Kansas City as part of our five-year categorical program.
