With six board-certified pediatric nephrologists, the Children's Mercy Nephrology department is the largest and most experienced service provider in the region. Our specialists offer comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents with kidney and urinary tract disorders including end-stage renal disease and transplant needs. Staff members are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week for consultation. Our participation as a member of the Combined Clinical Trials in Pediatric Transplantation (CCTPT) research consortium keeps our program on the cutting edge of transplant medicine.
