INTRODUCTION

The mission of Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics advocates that our health care services are available to every child in our region who needs them. The Managed Care department plays an integral role in meeting that mission, by striving to ensure that Children's Mercy participates in every managed care plan within the region and by maintaining strong relationships with all payor sources.
